Dear Logbook, tenth day of the fifth trip.
Today, Diary, is one of those days that you have marked on the calendar for several reasons. One, perhaps the most important is that you have an appointment to get a CT scan. That scanner that will tell you in a few weeks, if everything went well. It is assumed that if with two cycles of chemo, everything was clean, with two other reinforcement should be even more.
The other reason is that it is my onomastic, YES, this little sailor turns 43 today. That if on January 15 we are confirmed that we can go to review, it could be that I have celebrated since then on December 18 that day where I was born again.
That is why for this reason I bring you this website with which I intend that on this day so marked for me, we collect something. I will be a bit critical, the amount to give is what you want, it can be a simple euro. So there is no reason not to donate. Only 12 people, TWELVE, ONLY, we have donated. I think the motive and the Association deserve a little more. How much we have to learn from the countries of northern Europe! How much they help other people with donations. From here, thank those 11 donors who have collaborated. To the rest, come on, there is still time.
On the other hand, today after having the CT scan. I will show the project of the plastic boxes #ChemoBox to the Children’s Hospital and the foundation for children with cancer BarnCancerFonden. I hope They find it interesting and we can collaborate. Yesterday when I taught it in several groups of people with 3D printers in Sweden, quite a few people applauded the initiative and several told me how and when they could get down to work and print. Let’s wait and trust that it will be achieved. At least, I am putting all my effort into it. For children we must do many things and if they are suffering from cancer crap, even more. Forgive the word, but it is so. Cancer is not a cough, although many types, such as mine, the cure today is almost total. But the uncertainty of when you are diagnosed and the process between chemos, work leave, etc. They do or have made it the hardest thing that this Sailor has faced in his life. Well, if we think about it, it has to be passed by a child. Well, you have to get to help them. They, who are the future generation, deserve all our support in the way we can each. Therefore, I will try as many times as necessary.
For my part, everything continues as normal. Today perhaps because of so many things that will happen at about 4.30 AM, after almost 6 hours of sleep I have not been able to sleep anymore. Interesting day ahead of me after waking up to the grumetillos and preparing them breakfast. Today I suppose I leave before heading to the hospital that they go to school. Martín is already an older Man to close the house and accompany Gadea to school. I do not think they go before alone, because today it is pouring rain. In fact, it has been raining so much these days together with the few snows of the past few weeks, which is warning of flood risk of Lake Mälaren. This lake is draining as it was not done in many years by the Hammarby and Sodertlaje locks. And opening the floodgates of Parliament. And the lock closed for works in Slussen has been opened, it didn’t open in years. At the moment it has only risen 40-50 cm. But they have already warned people of it. After the Hospital I will go or not for a walk home. We continue adding kilometers. Monday 18, yesterday 15. Today if it rains we’ll see what I’m going through. Everything that comes back to me from the Hospital and walks in the afternoon for a while, before picking up Gadea.
And my dear Diary, today I don’t tell you anything else.
