Dear Logbook, seventy-fourth day of a new life.
My Diary, since the last day I wrote, few changes on my part have happened. My discomfort remains similar, perhaps my heels hurt less, but little change. On the other hand we live in difficult times. We live with concern the situation that worldwide is going through COVID, but especially what happens in Spain. Where we have our relatives and most of our friends. Difficult days those who are living there, where for the good of all, the measures have been taken that almost everyone shares. Hopefully, in a few weeks, we will see that the measures adopted are working. I wish it with all my heart.
Here in Sweden, we live more or less in a semi-quarantine regime. We are allowed to leave the house, but in practice we only do it on a daily basis to accompany the groups to school and bring Gadea back. And a little more. On the weekend we usually rent a car to go somewhere little crowded for fresh air. Yesterday, for example, we were in the Tyresta National Park where we took a walk of about 5 km, practically alone, we met very few people. From the point of view of the fu… COVID, here in Sweden, we are living a somewhat strange situation, since the Government, following the advice of the National Health Authority, is gradually applying measures, but nothing compared to those applied in Spain. High school and university closes, banning gatherings of more than 50 people, serving food at bar counter and little else. That if they have been encouraging people over 70 years to stay at home, supermarkets for example, open before normal hours so that they can access without people. The population is encouraged to telework, not to move around the country on the weekend. But for the moment little more. Every week that passes something new is introduced. I will tell you.
Like me, due to my discomfort, I cannot run yet, since I have been cycling for two days now, but at home. This is not the time to go out, except for the essentials and little else. I hope that little by little, I can get in shape. Well the fact of being almost 100% of the time at home makes it very difficult not to be itching all day.
And my dear Diary, I won’t tell you anything else for today. I hope in a few days to write again and I can tell you that the situation has improved, at least in Spain.
