Dear logbook, eighteenth day of the fourth and last trip.
Yesterday the day, more or less ended as “planned.” It is true that in this period of my life, I do not take too much for schedules or routines that must be fulfilled yes or yes at full. I consider things to do to be able to have my time busy. The more I am busy, the less time I have to think about other “existential” things. I was able to study English, Swedish and set up a “Chemobox” and prepare more digital models to print. Everyday, maybe you wonder, what is a #Chemobox? As they are plastic boxes, usually printed at home with a 3D printer, with which to hide serum bags with chemicals in chemotherapy treatments of children. In this way, they are made more enjoyable “trips”, because they are receiving “super powers” from their heroes of drawings, animation, etc. I have already printed one, waiting to print a couple more with other designs and colors. Once I have them, I will go as a vendor to tour the Foundation for children with cancer, my dear KS, etc. The fact is that if after showing it to them they like and accept it, let’s start with more people to make them and give them away. I’ve said it many times and I’ll say it more. Cancer is bullshit. Yes, it sounds bad, I’m sorry Diary. But if the one who suffers it is a child, with all that he has left to live, he is even higher. I find it very unfair that such innocent beings have to go through what I have been through, even being fast and with almost no side effects at the moment. For that, children deserve that we do everything in our hands so that “their expeditions” are the best possible as far as possible.
In order to help, you know that I collaborate with a foundation or organization ayudame3D.org These people and Guillermo as their founder are dedicated to manufacture at their cost, 3D hand prostheses. With this they have already delivered several hundreds to people without resources. Please, if you have a 3D printer at home or at work, you can help by entering the web and making a donation or spreading their work. Any help sure will be well received. From Guillermo I put this phrase that I heard yesterday and I found it wonderful:
“Help is too easy not to do it.”
Another thing that happened yesterday and I was surprised is that at work it was done as an end-of-the-year party where prizes were given among the members of the project. I don’t know why yet, but they gave me the “Mission impossible” award. I want to think that it is because I managed to finish almost closing and delivering a part of a project. That is only possible thanks to the great team of people who compose it, there I can do little more than encourage them and thank them for it. In any case, thanks to those who voted for me, but I think there are other people who deserve it much more.
Daily, as I write these words, it has not yet dawned. The day seems to be “hot.” That is, minimum of 4 degrees. Yupi !!! Today, like every Thursday, after leaving Gadea at school, I will stay at home waiting for my dear land crew to come to take the precious red liquid. It is my day of control. Today we will see, sure, that the defenses (white blood cells) are already close to normal values. And there will always be that doubt about how hemoglobin evolves. I’ll tell you tomorrow. Once the ground crew is gone I will go for a walk or ride a bike, we’ll see. I do not know yet. I will almost certainly go for a walk. Otherwise, time to continue studying a little English and Swedish and wait for the gossip to arrive and continue with the daily routines.
And my dear Diary, for today nothing more.
