Dear Logbook, thirty-fourth day of a new life.
My Diary, yesterday was more or less as I expected. Without big news. The weather was a bit unpleasant due to the strong wind we had. What made cycling more complicated and tired. But well, the sailor Marta and the little sailor Martín, move with the bike. Every day at home we use the bike as our means of transport. We have to recognize that until we arrived in Sweden we didn’t use the car so much.
My Diary, today will be another day of office and School. In the afternoon I intend to go jogging more than Sunday. But since I will go something further I will have to go somewhat more slowly. The case is to move and try to recover the sensations little by little. But knowing that as in a roller coaster, I will have good times and other bad times. I don’t know how I will walk, but I would love to run through Central Park. It would be something magical. But we will see. Three months ago I could not imagine that I would be running.
And for my part I follow in a similar way. The changes will come slowly. The most obvious change that everyone sees is the recovery of hair on the head. The head is not yet 100% covered but it is a matter of days or weeks to be. Something I really thought would take even longer. If on this point I repeat what I have written in other pages of my Diary, never tell someone that due to chemotherapy, radiotherapy or having to take medicine, they lose the hair that will come out. That is usually known from the beginning but the fact of losing hair is a traumatic experience more added to the treatment process. It is better not to say anything or tell him, what a job! Than telling him that in a short time he will be back. I can say in my case that it was the only visible effect I had. Thank God or whatever, I feel fortunate to not have had infections, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, severe headaches, etc. What people who receive scaled BEACOPP potions usually have.
And my Diary, I think that for today everything is said I hope tomorrow I can tell you something else.
