Dear Logbook, twenty-second day of the fifth trip.
In the end yesterday we took a walk in the morning before having lunch and another after it. What has helped me to continue exercising and combat overweight, which I read is very common after or during chemotherapy treatments. In my case I am still around 63.5-64.0 kg. Despite the exercise and reducing food intake a lot there is that weight. Little by little it goes down, but very slow. Last week I set a record for 99.2 km walking, which will be difficult for me to beat again. Maybe this week I made it, but I don’t see it easy. The goal that I set several weeks ago to reach 1001 km before January 14, is close, but requires an average of 10 km per day. We’ll see. We will continue to exercise for my good, not for the record.
Today has come out with a better temperature than yesterday, but it blows a lot of wind. In a while the ground crew will come to extract my precious red liquid for weekly control. We will see how the values are. Trusting that they continue to improve little by little. If they come soon I will try to go for a walk before having lunch. Today it will be time to do it soon, because at 13.30 I will take the car. I will go to the airport to pick up my parents in-law and my sister-in-law. The truth is that we are lucky that both families have been able to make this great effort and come to Stockholm to be with us. To us this fills us a lot. Thank you very much for the effort. In the afternoon we will go for a walk, I suppose and then turn to have dinner at home all together. We will be a great troop.
And my dear diary, for today nothing more.
