Dear Logbook, seventeenth day of the first trip.
Yesterday destiny took me for a very long but entertaining walk through the city. Despite the cool weather that is now on land, as I said, with good clothes everything goes better. It is a teaching we have learned in these northern lands.
The afternoon passes as usual. I wait for the arrival of the little sailors from school, prepare dinner and go to sleep. The night has passed like others, but with a little pause with my “friend“ insomnia for about an hour. It is something one has become accustomed to.
The little sailors are waking up now and the day has dawned with few clouds, but the weather forecast says that it will rain today … We will see if it is like that, because depending on the weather conditions I will take a shorter or a longer walk, or go to the exercise room here on the mainland. All of this will be after my dear friends of the land crew come home to have a conversation and extract the precious red liquid.
Then, in the afternoon, we will return to the usual routine, prepare food, run errands and arrival of the little sailors. Or rather, Martin arrives on his own and we pick Gadea up at her school. She could leave school earlier, but if she stays almost until the end, she is happy, because she stays with a very nice teacher who explains and helps her with her homework, which Gadea loves.
And we will see how we spend the night, but the best thing is that we are on the 17th day of this first trip and on the 19th I have a key appointment to see if I am given the tickets to start the voyages at sea next Monday. I am looking forward to it.
Dear Diary, I will tell you a little more tomorrow.
