Dear Logbook, first day of the first trip.
Today, we are here at the dock watching our ship the KS, which will be our “home” in different stages of calm and storms.
Finally, it is the day. Here we have some degree of fright. How will this trip be?. Apparently, the boat looks pretty good and beautiful, but the journey will tell us how the KS and its crew behave.
About the crew, after having talked to them all these days of waiting, I can see that they are people who know what they are doing and they are very nice. It is curious the language they speak… Luckily, we know how to make ourselves understood in other languages.
Here we are already on board the “inland sailor” in these Viking lands and Marta, my faithful companion. What would the sailor do without her?
After a brief talk with part of the crew, we finally set sail.
On this first day of crossing, calm seems to reign. Everything is new, as I was told before leaving. But until you don’t experience by yourself, you don’t really get to the idea.
The miles are passing and it seems that today’s voyage is coming to an end. More and more liquids that make you tolerate the first day in a different way. At the moment the effects of the ship’s movement are not noticeable. Even so they have given me some pills to avoid getting dizzier.
Hours are passing…
The first day of crossing is done. Now it’s time to go to the cabin and restock the energies with delicious food, to rest and be able to handle the second day of the trip tomorrow. This trip will be exciting because it is said that the end of it is in a land full of joy and happiness. So, despite the storms that may come, the attitude we will have will be that of optimism for the hidden treasure on the destination island of KS.
