Dear Logbook, fourth day of the first trip.
Today is a new day. The ship is moored in port preparing for the voyage on September 23rd. Meanwhile, we are here on the mainland.
Today a new crew has visited me. They were as nice and attentive as the KS’s crew. I was told that, after talking with the people of the KS, it has been decided to postpone the extraction of the precious red liquid till tomorrow. In this way, my body reaction to the fluids received during the last voyages can be better observed. So in the end, my body need not suffer the slight lacerations of that fluid extraction needle.
Luckily, they have brought me more magic potions. This confirms I have everything prescribed ready at home to be taken.
In addition to bringing me those concoctions, we have been chatting and they have asked me how I am after the crossings, how I sleep and how much I weigh. I had never thought that gaining some weight was a reason for joy. Apparently now it is. Thanks to the potions, those rare high fevers that began last August remain below 37 degrees, which they say is a good sign. And I do notice it.
Yesterday, I told you that I had never suffered problems when I went to the latrines and that I was beginning to have them. False alarm. Everything was solved with a little more work, but without the need to take special powders, which they have brought me and recommended me to take the days of navigation.
Regarding the rest, there is little more to tell you. I think that after tasting the food, a cream of leeks and roast chicken, it is a good time to enjoy a windy, cloudy and fresh morning. I think that today, instead of walking along the shore of the pier, we will try to discover new routes searching out sensations and little-frecuented places of this Nordic landscape. Tomorrow, after the arrival of the new crew, I hope to tell you something more about how your dear sailor from dry land is.
