Dear Logbook, first day of the fifth trip.
Yesterday I told you that it was the last day of that trip associated with a chemotherapy treatment. Today we could say that it is the first day of the fifth trip. A different trip, of a different duration, is no longer 21 days as were the 4 trips that preceded it. It is not a trip to enroll in my dear KS to go to the high seas to receive potions (Chemotherapy). It is a journey, which begins today and ends on January 15. A trip in which only two visits to the KS are contemplated. One to do the CT Scan and another to receive the results of it, and if God wants to hear that we are in complete remission and that we go to the review phase. Hopefully it will be like that. If it were not, then we will extend the expedition a few more months, but with the same integrity and optimism that we have had until today. Life will remain wonderful.
Returning to this trip. From the point of view of the medication it will be the same as in the last week of each previous trip. That is, only Valacyklovir morning and afternoon and Bactrim in the morning. With the incorporation or not of Omeoprazole. Valacyklovir is to prevent that due to the punishment that potions on the high seas do to the body, Herpes zoster may appear. I will take this one for another month. And the Bactrim, which is an antibiotic, I think it is to prevent lungs that go loose in the potions to develop pneumonia. I will take this one for three more months.
From the point of view of everyday life, let’s say it will be like the last week, except for the two weeks of Christmas, from December 24 to January 7. Those weeks will be special when you receive our families from Spain, who will make an extra effort to be here with us. We have already told you. Thank you so much for coming. THANKS a thousand.
Yesterday I took the infusion again. I managed to sleep about 6 hours. I dont complain.
Today, Monday, the day will not be very cold and it seems that, at least, it does not rain in the morning with what we can walk after leaving the little sailor Gadea at the School. After the walk I will make food and study languages or vice versa. In the afternoon continue “playing” making decorations designs for the #ChemoBox boxes. I want to bring more models of decorations, although this will not be what decides if they are encouraged to use them or not. But at least that together with the examples of use in hospital of Spain serves so that if they do not use them, they begin to use them. In the coming weeks it will be known.
And I think that for today, my dear Diary, nothing more.
