Dear Logbook, third day of the second trip.
Dear Logbook, third day of the second trip.
Yesterday as I anticipated we had a great evening with friends. How many good people there are! As always when we meet during the week, we have to finish the meeting sooner than we would like. What a pity! What a great time we were having!
Today my friend “insomnia” has returned but not for a long time. So I spent some time reading about one of the greatest figures of universal history, Philip II. And then, I fell asleep for other two hours. The day has dawned with clouds and a threat of drizzle. But it makes it more temperate.
The morning has started as usual, preparing breakfast and taking the little sailor to school.
And now I am in the carriage heading to the dock to join the last crossing of this week, penultimate of this trip.
Let’s hope it will be like the previous ones, with the calm sea. Today’s crossing is like yesterday’s, just administering a liquid, Etoposide, and some serum to clean the veins. The voyage has been short, because we have reached port. I guess having the calm sea has helped. I must say that I feel fortunate that between the potions and my body, all the voyages have passed with the calm sea. No nausea or vomiting. Besides, I have not lost my appetite. All this makes me able to lengthen my walks and going at a pace not imagined 4 weeks ago. Then I took a walk through the city after having a complete salad with vegetables, proteins and carbohydrates. And I walked almost 12 km at a quiet pace visiting two new islands, Skeppsholmen and Kastellholmen. Then I walked back home, visiting the Catholic Cathedral to pray.
The afternoon is posed with errands and little else. I hope to have a great night’s sleep.
And my Dear Diary, we will surely live great adventures that I can tell you tomorrow.
